Scott McMillan, M.Sc
Education - Master of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Science (Biomechanics Major). Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.
Race Experience - Dozens of Half Marathon and shorter road running races. 38:13 10k PR. Over 14 Ironman Finishes, 5 Time Kona Qualifier, Sub 2hr Olympic Distance PR, Sub 4:25 Half IM PR, 9:31 IM PR.
Work Experience - 3+ years of coaching runners and 7+ years of coaching triathletes. 4 yrs. as a strength coach. 6 yrs as Sport Science Researcher with ADIDAS.
Who he Coaches - Scott currently coaches developing, as well as, elite age group endurance athletes across all distances. He is also the personal coach of professional triathlete Janelle Morrison. He helps many athletes take their racing to the next level whether they live in or outside of Canada. As the Factor 9 Director of Coaching he oversees all of our coaches training programs. As a team, we work together to give you the best coaching available.
Jason Oliver, B.Ed
Education - Bachelor of Economics (Honors), Bachelor of Business Management (Honors), Bachelor of Education.
Race Experience - Jason completed his first marathon at age 16, and has raced every distance from the 55 meter sprint to a 50-mile ultramarathon.
Work Experience - Jason has coached youth track, high school cross country, and adult running groups. He has also worked as a wilderness guide, challenging individuals to reach new heights of personal achievement.
Who He Coaches - Trail runners and road runners from cross country distances up to ultramarathons across all abilities.
